Plaza Wine & Liquors — Local services in O'Fallon

Good selection and nice staff but check the date on the products. They have lots of beer more than 12 months beyond the brewery-stamped "best by" date. I brought this to their attention on 2 different occasions but they won't remove the old stock and replace it with fresh beer. They say it's fine and the dates are meaningless. Not true. It's called a "pull date" for a reason. The breweries expect it to be pulled and disposed. It's a shame because I like the place, but no way am I spending $11 for a six pack of expired beer. Save your money for a store that cares about the products they sell and the customers...

Stopped in to grab a couple gifts. Typically pretty friendly and helpful. No one in the store is wearing a mask, and the staff are in the middle of a conversation with an unmasked customer about how asking for social distancing is "virtue signalling", and to f* off because it's Christmas.
