So not a review of the post itself, but of the honor guard they provided for my dad's funeral at Lakeview Memorial. It was truly awe inspiring. We got to the grave, and they were already there standing at attention in 95+ degree heat. They sent him off with an actual live fire salute and the live playing of taps on an actual antique bugle. The bugler has to have nerves of steel. (no pressure there!)
There wasn't a dry eye in the place. Ed and his guys do it right. The pride they show for their fellow vets is truly inspiring. Afterwards we got to meet and talk with them at the post, and they were awesome. Please support this post, and the work they do in many facets of vet support.
