Hmm… where do I start? I have bought a whole bunch of stuff from Watson’s in O’Fallon Illinois in the last two years. My latest purchase was a bullfrog X7 hot tub. and let me tell you it’s been a nightmare. After about a week, my breaker started tripping and it wasn’t all the time some days in my trip twice a day other times it would be several days so I had their service department come out. That itself is a joke! I think they only have a couple people doing service because it took several weeks before they’re able to come out so in the meantime, I had to keep checking and make sure it wasn’t tripped because I didn’t want it to Freeze. I have a brand new panel designated just for the hot tub. Nothing else and I have had numerous electricians out here to check and double check for me to make sure it’s nothing on my end. And each time they come back and they cannot find one thing wrong with the electrical. They have come out and swapped out different parts off of this hot tub and the last time the guy pulled a new motherboard out of his van that obviously was in another hot tub previously so now I have a used motherboard in this brand new hot tub. They have been out here at least six times And each time it’s just a guessing game. One of the times they were out here they said it has to be a square D breaker disconnect Because that’s the only one that works with bullfrog Hot tubs , which I have brought that up to numerous electricians and they all kinda laughed and said that’s sounds like a excuse but I paid them to go ahead and put the recommended disconnect in and then within two days you guessed it it tripped again So then, Watson’s sends out their ace tech, which after I filled it up the last time he was here I thought I had a sprinkler on my patio. Several connections were tightened up in the pumps and heater area. So he calls bullfrog right in front of me and immediately the guy from bullfrog had an attitude and said I had to go with the square D commercial disconnect not the residential one it just sounds like they’re trying to avoid replacing this lemon. The staff at Watson’s in the store were great although their service department is a whole different story you would think for a repeat customer or just any customer in this situation they would replace it and make it right but now I don’t even get a call back. Just so disgusted and disappointed. I think I’m going to possibly file a lawsuit because as we all know these things aren’t cheap. Come on Watsons step up and fix...
Read moreThe Store (location) was fine. I actually found them to be helpful and the service was good. After the sale it is another story.
I purchased a Hot Tub and a message chair. I spent $15,000 in total. The hot tub had a number of issues. The tub leaked rather heavily, and it had a chip/defect in the shell. The installer pointed it out and told me to definitely call about the chip (he didn't even know about the leak at the time). It was installed during the last week of December, and it took 2 months to fix the leak. First, the tech came out and said, it is leaking pretty bad, he had to order parts, so the leak continued. He came back when the parts came in, oops, he ordered the wrong parts, and had to order the correct ones this time. Finally, the leak was fixed after 6-8 weeks. Now, because this was over winter, the water got under my concrete pad, froze, lifted, broke and separated it from the rest of my pad. Yes, it lifted 6 inched of concrete an inch over the rest of the pad. Watsons, customer service said it was my problem, and they do not do anything with foundation even though it was their leaking hot tub that caused the issue. Moving on to the Chip. Many emails back and forth until they finally stopped with no resolution. Here I am writing this, and I have received 0 compensation for my troubles because of their defects. I guess next time I feel like spending $15-20k I will not be...
Read moreIf I could give a zero star I most certainly would do so. For the first time since moving to Illinois in Feb of 2021 from California and after purchasing my home in Shiloh in August of 2021- I decided to stop in and see what they offer for entertainment for my home. Since I have a near 3k sq ft home w a walk out basement I have plenty of area for a bar, pool table, arcade and much more more....I walked in and did not have the expectation that I would be greeted immediately- BUT I did have an expectation that I would be GREETED PERIOD!!! That DID NOT HAPPEN and I walked from the front to the back and each side. There were a few sales associates who were not assisting anyone and just totally ignored me. I saw a few pieces that I was ready to discuss w a sales associate about making a purchase - but after being ignored I will NEVER EVER go back there for ANYTHING. Let me also mention that I felt that it was racially motivated that I was ignored as I watched those same salespeople jump to assist a white woman who walked in well after I did. I will NEVER RECOMMEND NOT SUPORT THIS BUSINESS as long as I live in the...
