Prior to my purchase I was skeptical about adding an extension cord to my 4000w portable heater but after I called AC Works and spoke with Tony I was extremely confident about this product. I was very impressed with Tony's knowledge when I called the company - he provided me with specifications and reassured me that I was nowhere near exceeding the capacity of my heater with this product. Later I learned that he has double electrical engineering degrees so that boosted my confidence even more after I spoke to him. I am more than satisfied with this product and the customer service has been great. The first cord I received the light that illuminates at the end of the cord when it's plugged in did not illuminate. I continued to use the first cord until the replacement came in because it did not have an effect on the integrity of the 220 volt line. The replacement that I received is awesome. I was informed that out of a few thousand of these 25 foot cords only a few times has it happened where the light has been burned out. I CANNOT say enough about these guys, wish I could give 10 stars! I ordered an adapter and as accidents happen, they sent me the incorrect unit which happens and is totally ok. I have no training or experience in these things so literally did not know what I was talking about. Tony, who was exceptional, helped me through the issue and not only sent out a replacement the same day but, when I explained to him that I needed it for an appliance that I was having installed, sent it express to ensure I would have it in time! It's very very rare these days to have a company that not only will walk you through an issue but immediately make it right and assist. He was incredible, will not only use AC works as my only go to when I need an adapter but will tell any and everyone who asks where did I go, to point them to AC Works! Thanks again Tony! Recently made an uneducated guess at an adapter for a generator and purchased the wrong one. Called office to inquire about a different adapter. He offered to look at photos, male / female receptacle requirement, in order to help me determine my specific needs. I did, however, use information included in original mailing of adapter ordered to determine the part number that I needed. He verified this was indeed correct, suggested that the purchase of the adapter I needed would be most effectively done online. I thanked him for his time, hung up, and was very quickly texted a link to the exact adapter that I needed, saving me time.
