Overall decent golf experience. Lady in the pro shop was nice and friendly. Driving range was disappointing. No effort at all 1/10. Made me wonder why I just payed $95.
Layout is excellent. Lots of water coming into play from the tee box.
We played from the Blue tees 6447. We would have played the white tees but felt it was a little short at 5820. In hindsight probably should have played the white tees. The wind got up making the course play a lot longer. Slope played more difficult than 129. I would have made it 131/132
Tee boxes in good shape 6/10 Fairways in fair/good shape 5/10 Rough was disappointing 3.5/10
Most of the rough was decent, Very inconsistent. Never sure how you ball would be lying. (clumps of grass, weeds and mud etc)
Greens are superb 8/10. Pristine condition. I would have given a 9/10 but they ran a little slow.
Tried to buy a sandwich at the turn. It took an age so decided not too.
Over all it was a good golf experience. Not sure it was worth the money. More like a $70 course (Range balls should be included)
We finished our round in 3.5 hours. Maybe dropping price will encourage more golfers to play.
It’s a beautiful part of Georgia. Nature is superb! Water, Wildlife and Sunshine.
I’ll come back for another round. Hard to judge any golf course on just one round in early April....

From juicy burgers and loaded hot dogs to crispy chicken sandwiches and fresh salads, there's something for every appetite. I'm particularly fond of the artfully crafted Avocado Salad with its vibrant mix of greens, roasted corn, feta, and zesty dressing. The fried grouper sandwich is another standout - the fish is light and flaky.
When friends gather, hearty baskets like chicken wings and crispy chicken fingers make for fantastic shareability. The sides don't disappoint either, with beer-battered fries, crave-able onion rings, and creamy house-made potato salad as standout options.
What really elevates the experience is the laidback, welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff. Whether soaking up some rays on the patio or decompressing indoors, it's a...
Read morea group of us recently played this course. The course condition was fantastic and the course layout is terrific. You will enjoy it if you are a single digit handicap, however if you are a 15 plus handicap find another course. The issue with this course is the fairways, they are very very tight, additionally they are guarded by sawgrass lots of sawgrass. It is harder than any links course you could ever play. It is not very enjoyable playing a course that requires a perfect shot every time, it is more like target golf. What a shame, this could be such a wonderful fun course and fun to play. This course was redone from what I understand, and they decided to incorporate the massive amounts of Sawgrass. Bad decision for the average golfer.
The green fees are reasonable until you factor the 6 plus ball you will lose to the Sawgrass. This course could be a real winner by eliminating sawgrass. The course and greens are in Perfect condition. Bravo...
