Our family is a huge fan of drive-ins, so we have visited quite a few. It's one of the first things I look for whenever we are in a small town. While staying in nearby Fayetteville, visiting New River Gorge NP, I spotted this drive-in on Google Maps and knew we had to go. Prices were reasonable - $8pp, 5 and under free. Cash only at the admission gate. Movies start at dusk, which in the summer means around 9pm. This was well-past our little kids' bedtime, but they managed to stay awake to watch the first feature. We were sad that we had to leave before the second movie, as it was the one the adults wanted to see, but it was way too late at that point and clear to us that our kids weren't going to sleep unless we left. A few notes: There's a small swing set for kids by the screen. People were actually really respectful about turning off their headlights (something that is often an issue at other drive-ins) and the staff was good about constantly reminding folks to do so. While we love vintage drive-ins, if often means vintage (run-down) bathrooms, which is not the case here - very nice staff and clean facilities. Concessions close before the second movie, but it seems like you can bring in your own food. Many of the drive-ins we have been to have a no outside food policy, or they charge you for bringing in your own food, but that didn't seem to be the case here. Might be worth bringing a portable radio to tune in to the movie broadcast. Also bring chairs and blankets - we even saw people with inflatable mattresses! There were a good amount of people on a Saturday night, but it never felt overly crowded or too rowdy. Overall a really nice, family-friendly spot, and a great value, especially if you watch both movies. Wish we had a spot like this closer to home!

This is a very new drive in theatre. It is designed well to both combine the nostalgic feel along with the modern feel. Cost of admission was $8 a person. The concessions all taste good and are reasonably priced. The screen is new and the movies look fantastic. The first movie started around 9pm and the last movie ended at 2am. One tip of advice would be to bring your own radio or speaker that has a FM receiver if you plan on sitting outside of your vehicle. Absolutely come here if you are looking for a great experience.

Very clean location, great prices to get in, my only suggestion would be to hire more people to work concessions because I stood in line for just under 45 minutes for pop corn 🍿 there was only 1 poor girl up front and then there was 1 man bringing pizzas out to place in the hot box for orders. She was very overwhelmed. Other than that, this was a fun experience and we will be back.

They should have a Speaker set up they don't you have to use your radio... heck even just a Bluetooth relay would work... they have halopinos on there hotdogs but its not stated anywhere. The screen froze at one point at the beginning but they got it working again... butter popcorn isn't butter popcorn. The popcorn wasn't that good either...We asked for butter never received any even though they took it back and was supposed to put more butter on it nop... the pizza didn't look that great and was slightly burnt but we was able to eat it...they gates should open later because we had 3 hours to wait...the movie was very viewable once it got fully dark which was at the start of the move... the lighting kept interupting our sound which is the needed for some speakers...the place was very beautiful great place to sit and hangout and eventually watch a movie at night....everyone was very nice... they should sale a battery radio so if your radio isn't working you can still hear it luckily our neighbors had there's turned up... the hot dogs was good once i removed the halopinos... they had a drone watching people felt like i was being spyed on in my own car...and a guy watching from the fence line...and another guy coming around with a camera weird... we got rained on which was ok i don't know about watching too movies in a rain storm cause of gas prices running your car we left after the first movie because of signal issues...other than the few things it was a good night all in all... opening night there's always a few bugs but for the price...

Nice and hard working crew! Projector quality is really nice. With the brightness, probably could've went alittle bigger? But this part of the investment, not bad! Great price for two movies. Even called over the broadcast for FRICKEN IDIOTS TO TURN THEIR LIGHTS OFF! Awesome for doing this.

But speaking of broadcast, this is where work severely needs done. It sounds like the gain volume on their fm transmitter is wayyyyyy too high. So anything mixed loud, is just a absolute mess. Basic dialogue scenes are fine. If they simply turned it down, probably would help so much. And the transmitter seems weak. Didn't matter if it was my car antenna, phone, or tablet connected to a speaker.

Wouldn't be a huge deal, except there are NO speakers here.

Plenty of bathrooms. Not meadow bridge, where it's ONE TOILET FOR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE. Just...the men's stalls don't flush. Ew? But I get it.

Oh, and lol. Make sure to ask for extra salt on your popcorn. Thank me later. I saw a fella throw an entire bag away. And no chips and cheese, definitely cheap on how many chips you get. But drink and hot dog prices are super reasonable.

I'll definitely come back one more later in the summer to see if the fm broadcast is fixed. That easily will...
