Crossett's Food Market — Local services in Oakesdale

Huge shout out to Crossett's. Saturday, the 14th of May, 2022, our Road Captain led a ride, rain or shine to Spokane Valley. Well, it rained. We had to make a pit stop in Oaksdale and Crossett's was the only place open. They were friendly and warm. When asked if we could use the restroom, the reply was: "Of course, make yourself at home!" We weren't going to do that but the friendly attitude made us feel welcome. We shook off the rain, used the facilities, bought some snacks, got our bearings and headed out feeling much better.

Some of my earliest memories are of Jack Crossetts grocery store. His son Mike owns the store now. I was raised at bottom of Steptoe Butte so that is about the only grocery store we shopped at while I was growing up. For a small town grocery store it is amazing that he has almost anything a family could possibly need in the way of food stuffs. He even has a well stocked home stuff section. All this and his prices are on par with the big box stores. I highly recommend Crossetts Grocery Store. Five stars for being so kind when I stopped in just to get a plastic bag for a carsick kiddo. You gave me two just in case and even offered me paper towels.
