Im a local and came here a lot, I won’t anymore. Came to get new arrows strike one- they had me leave the day I got new arrows didn’t touch my bow had let them “dry” even though other bow shops around will cut, shoot and tune the same day. Anyways I said ok I said I’d come back strike two- come to find out they cut the arrow wrong they matched my old arrow size that didn’t have outserts making my arrow about an inch or so longer, didn’t like that at all…! After spending nearly 200$ on arrows I’m not happy. So I came in again and Todd “helped” me, told me arrows can’t be fixed and did a small “tune” moved my d loop and rest a touch that was about it for a whole new arrow set up!? So i thought I’d be ok went to shoot my sight and everything is way off left and bottoming out going down…. Not happy. I didn’t even reach out to see if they would fix it again, nor will I, they’ve done enough.I’m very disappointed Todd acts like you are a inconvenience to his “busy” day with all them bows he works on but can’t set mine up right. I went to GoldStar, told them what happened. They right away fixed my arrows, got them to the length I wanted, fixed my peep, d loop and rest, I had a index when the bow was brought last time a bow tech touched it and since got a thumb button so everything needed to be moved up. hilltop Todd didn’t even notice, they noticed right away they fixed everything got me on target and now I have plenty of room for adjustments and everything is truly inline. Nice arrows fixed and my bow tuned correctly. I’m so disappointed because hilltop was my local shop but I’m not supporting anymore… he’s been there awhile.. maybe new bow techs or something but I won’t be coming back and I don’t recommend them now for your bow needs. I’ve spent a ton of money here on multiple things and been a huge support. What should’ve been $150 max on new arrows turned into way more. The arrows were so messed up I ended up having to pay gold star $60 just to fix them. So even more money blown on arrows that should’ve been right in the first place and on the same day. I want a bow tech that wants to help, not someone who acts like I’m an inconvenience to their...

Absolute disgrace!! I took my 12 gauge shotgun to get drilled and tapped and have a rail mounted on it. The gunsmith there did a horrible job. When I finally was able to take a good look at my gun I noticed that the rail was not properly installed. Upon further inspection there were only two screws in the rail and where the third screw should have been in the middle the rail hole had been drilled out and you could very plainly see that the center hole in the gun did not line up with the hole in the rail. When I contacted the gunsmith hoping that he would make it right he was instantly combative. he told me that he had already given me all this information which I promise you he never said anything about to me. He then said that he would fix it if he could but that he would not give me a refund or pay to have the problem fixed somewhere else. I've been told by two other gunsmiths that my gun needs to have the holes filled and then needs to be retapped and redrilled. I was simply trying to have him make this mistake right. He was rude disrespectful the whole conversation....

We live in a world that everything it's only a click away with a phone or a computer so customer service is very important. Last year I stopped at hilltop to get floating spiders the woman that helped me show me a plastic divider full of them I bought a half dozen just to find out they did not float Today I stopped to buy a fishing license after waiting for the employees to get done playing grab-a$$ the clerk went to ring up my fishing license and for whatever reason needed the person that was before me because that transaction was not finished So you have no idea about the products you sell and now I have to wait for your employees to track down someone they didn't finish there transactions????? I'm just saying if you're this horrible at your job maybe you should try something different However Magnum sports gladly sold me a license for fishing and almost $700 in gear So I would recommend just going to Magnum and bypassing this place unless you just want to waste your...
