Eben is a rare find and true artist craftsman. His unique vision, talent, skill, and dedication to repurposing lumber salvaged from all over Maine are welcome in a world where mass production and poor quality furniture have become accepted as the norm. He has an impeccable attention to detail, and his love of woodworking is evident in his pieces.

Eben built a 9 foot dining room table for our new home with lumber he salvaged from 100-200 year old barns. Designed by Eben, and built to our specifications, it has become the favorite piece of furniture in our home. It is simply beautiful. Eben has since built us 4 live edge benches - 2 we placed in guest bedrooms, and 2 outside around our fire pit. We had an entryway closet that jackets and shoes just got thrown into. I really wished we had a mudroom but we didn’t so I found pictures where people took their closets and turned them into a small mudroom. I tired to find contractors who would do it but all told me it would be really hard and costly. Two of my friends told me they used Lovejoy Rustic furniture. I saw the projects they had made by him and loved them so figured I’d reach out. He was quick, efficient, friendly, and best of all the results blew my vision out of the water. Our camp was built sometime in the 1960’s. The kitchen area certainly looked like it. The countertop was Formica and the cupboards were plywood. Eban fabricated new cupboards and cabinets utilizing wood salvaged from barns and other structures, Incorporating clever hardware, he created so much storage space that appliances no longer need to be on the countertop. Pots, pans and spices now have a convenient, easily accessible place to go. An added plus in the camp is that everything he added in the kitchen is mouse proof.
