While driving the Interstate, we got off on Rt 83 for breakfast (which was great). We seen a flyer for Buffalo Bills Museum and asked the waitress for directions, she told us to follow 83 south and we'll know when we've arrived. Did we ever! Out of the cornfields rose up a huge bronze sculpture 12 - 14' high Buffalo Bill. What a nice clean, orderly facility and the people were super nice, informative & friendly. Read moreMy wife and I had some time to spare, so we stopped in at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center for a break from driving down I-70. You'll know you're there when you see the buffalo hunting statue out front. We learned some about Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley and enjoyed a few minutes sitting in the comfortable chairs in the building. The restrooms were clean as advertized in the sign out front. The gift shop has lots of interesting items and books for sale. One wall of the main room was covered in tourist brochure for all kinds of Kansas attractions. This was a great rest area...
