Great place to take your kids and family. The Crawford county fair is usually a good clean and safe place to bring the family for a good evening of family fun. I have spent many Hours at the Crawford County Fairgrounds... usually as a Visitor during the Oblong Oil Field Heritage and Gas Engine Show held every Year during August.

While that Show is a Real Hoot (and I Definitely Recommend coming to Oblong to be a Part of it), Yesterday I traveled Here with a Different Purpose, and was Guided and Benefited by the Expert "Pilotage" of a Very Special Friend.

We brought our 43' camper there. 50 amp service is limited. No dump station at camp sites, there is one to use though. For the money it's one of the nicest we have stayed. Nice park around a lake, playground for kids, safe, secure, tranquil view...
