Marine Memorial Golf Course — Local services in Oceanside

I removed my original review since the manager contacted me and explained what happened. I'm not satisfied with response since it was a typical restaurant response about their service. Its a wedding and can't get that moment back. My main problem is they allowed someone new to work my wedding and it caused some issues. I would be on time for ceremony if I didn't have to spend time yelling and cussing at coordinator. I apologized later because thats not how I'm suppose to handle situation and I felt bad about it. Apart of me think that she deserved the wrath I gave her. During planning they weren't responsive to calls and emails until the month of wedding.

What happened was I was told the list wasn't at the gate the guests were suppose to arrive at. My parents had military ID and had to get some guests including my husband at the gate. Of course I was told they are not responsible for what happened and they did what they suppose to. After yelling at coordinator and I'm sure my parents had some words to say to her, THE LIST MAGICALLY APPEARED.

There was issues with the food and my guests should have spoke up during event for them to fix it.

I talked to some vendors( I used one of them on base) told me that the golf course if difficult.

I hope my compliant is a training opportunity for them. I don't recommend them for weddings. I suggest you take your money somewhere else or you will have some unwanted drama. I'm a nice person and they turned me into a bridezilla.

Played course 26 July 2024. I played this course over 6 years ago and it was in terrible condition, but now the course has done a complete 180. It is good to see the Marines are being taken care of. Tee boxes and fairways are in good condition with the exceptions of some tee boxes not being level. The greens are pretty good as well but there are some rough areas but if you hit it where you should there won't be a problem. As for the bunkers, they need a lot more sand in them to actually execute bunker shots. The course layout is difficult with elevation challenges. Went to this course with my husband and our baby, I had no intention of getting on a golf cart, it was supposed to be a fun outing for us and some friends. After my husband rented a cart, balls, and a few other items for himself and friends an older man rudely said "You are aware that's not allowed on the course, I don't care how cute it is" speaking about my 8 month old daughter who I was holding in my arms. I saw several families with children chasing carts, throwing balls and making a mess of the course, however I was apparently not allowed to walk around the grounds wearing my baby.
