Peace be to all, I would like to share my experience at this business. The owner was very arrogrant and swore at me. He should have done it before I had swiped my credit card for the purchase. That way, I wouldn't have bought anything & I would have walked out. It's very unethical business behavior to a customer. He was annoyed at me because I happened to have mentioned to his teenage kid, that I have my kid going to the same High School and I felt the virtual schooling was not easy, and I was looking for a tutor. Casually without thinking much of it, I said my thoughts out loud, that I felt when the boy grows up, he would be a nice match for my daughter. I did apologise for saying that, I did not intend to make much of it. The owner as he verbally abused me, he asked me: if I was from Black Bush in Guyana, I told him I was from G.T and my mom was originally from LaPenitence, but we moved to a better area when I was 5 years old. The owner told me that I am a liar. I said to him, "wa laa howla wa laa ku wa ta il Laah bil Laah hul aleeyul Azeem" aameen. Then he said to me: "You're a devil!" I answered: "You're an idiot." Also he refused to give me a refund. I had to call the cops. I gave the meat I paid for to a customer in the store, she witnessed what happened. I told her I didn't feel comfortable to take that meat home to cook, because it was such a horrible experience. The customer did not mind taking it, also I asked her for her phone number, since she witnessed everything. I am now buying halaal meat from the Indian Store on Dillards Road, Winter Garden. Their meat is nicely packaged and sealed in plastic for freshness. 360 Meat Shop is fresh meat, don't misunderstand me by this review, it's just that the business ethics, could have been more on a professional level. I'm so glad the Indian Store is near to me, this owner has much better business practices. Also lots of fresh vegetables, spices, samosas, sweet gulab jamoon, rasmali...
Read moreTHE LOW REVIEW IS FRom A PHONE ORDER, NOT MEAT QUALITY!! So I’ve been coming here about once a month for a few months now. A one way trip for me is 2 hours. I came on Wednesday, which they’re Facebook page said they were open, but they were closed and didn’t answer their phone for 2 days. I waited for about 45 minutes, as I really didn’t want the whole 4 hour total drive to not be wasted. This was very frustrating for me, as I only come to Ocoee for them! I totally understand if they had no meat, but an update on their Facebook or answering their phone would have been very appreciated. So I call on Friday and they were open. Yay! So I give them an order over the phone for my husband to pick up. Firstly, the young man taking the order was not sure or accurate on many of the prices. This caused a huge issue for me, as I ended paying more than double than what I’m used to spending. Secondly, there was miscommunication on how the meat was supposed or not supposed to be cut. Again, super frustrating, as I live two whole hours away. Thirdly, I notice that they sometimes weigh and price the meat BEFORE they trim it, which I’m not sure is the normal for butcher shops, but nonetheless, I’m sure it was done again for all of the meats. As awesome as this place is, I don’t think I will ever place an order over the phone again, unless I’m for sure speaking to the shop owner. Even then, I’d prefer to see them dress the meat so as to get it...
Read moreFor the most part, the meat here is good and clean. However, when they are ready to get rid of pieces they can't sell, they'll give you all the bad pieces if you're not paying attention. Has happened more than once.
My biggest issue with this place is their business practice and ethics. On one occasion of them providing mostly belly, called them up to ask why they did that and the owner said "you said you wanted that" and hung up. People have a bad day, gave him other opportunities only to find he would pass off bad pieces of meat when he's ready.
Very inconsistent hours of operation. Last visit, 4:00 PM on Wednesday. Sign says closed Monday and Tuesday. Not the first time this has happened by a long shot. I get it, family-owned business. Everyone is entitled to a day-off or vacation. Owner is very active on social media to post his specials and deals. (Also claims open 7 days). Take 30 seconds to post an update on Social Media pages that you will be closed on X date. Customers don't need an explanation as to why, just let people know. Many of your loyal customers travel a good distance to support a young man and his family, but respect goes two ways.
I can tell by previous reviews left by other customers that have had such experiences that the owner will be fast to reply and double down on his practices in a rude way. Work on your service. You can have a great product, but without service; your product isn't...
