Good discount store, I'd rank this one in the top five of all the Amish run stores in the area. Always clean and prompt service. Typically you can find cheap household items like dish soap, cleaning products, food (dry and canned goods) beauty products, books, ect. Has some outdoors stuff too, gardening tools, bug spray and some hunting gear. A little bit of this and that. What you can't find in this store you'll surely get at any of the other stores located just off of Amish Boulevard. It's been a long time since I've been to the Amish stores in Iowa. Carter's is a nice discount/surplus style store. The people running the store are very polite and friendly. There is handicap accessible ramp at the entrance as well as regular steps. Remember to ring the bell at the register if there is no one there. The workers will keep working on whatever they are doing if you dont. I found several items at super low prices. It is worth the drive to visit...
