We were looking for a Lowe dealer and found Eichner . We wanted a Lowe boat cover and found a price through the Lowe website. We wanted to give our business to Eichners and help support the Keith County economy. We were quoted almost a 100% mark up over the price quoted on the website. We showed the staff at Eichners and they refused to budge. I have no issue with them making a profit, but that is gouging in my opinion. We then took our boat to have an exhaust leak repaired, test the cranking battery, and perform any needed maintenance. After several calls to them, they finally said the boat was done. No exhaust leak found, the battery tested fine, and no maintenance required. I paid the diagnostic fee and made arrangements to pick up the boat after hours. They had the boat out as promised, but had left the key in the "on" position, leaving me with a completely dead battery. I knew the battery was weak as I had to put it on a charger every week prior to taking it in. The battery was no longer salvageable after leaving the key on, so I still ended up taking more time and aggravation going to another location to buy a battery that could have been replaced while it was there. When getting on the lake, the exhaust leak that had been there for 6 months was gone, even though they said no problem found. I'm glad they fixed the leak, even though they said they didn't. I called them back to explain my less than stellar experience, and although they said 'sorry', they offered absolutely nothing in return to try and earn my business. I was willing to pay for additional maintenance and accessories to help support them, but will take my business elsewhere. I am fairly certain that Brunswick Lowe needs to hear about the lack of customer service their dealer is providing as well. Stay away, they want your money without providing service or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst customer service. Spoke to Maria and she rudely hung up on me as we asked to pick up our boat and not spend the high fees to finish the fix . She was upset we did not want to pay that much to fix. We also had to call them over and over to see the status and we asked for boat to be done at a certain date. They never told us they were weeks out. We WERE a repeat customer and have already paid a few thousand in the past . However, to have the boat fixed and two times it went back within the year is not a good fix sign. We will gladly take our $1300 elsewhere . I do NOT recommend and will say boaters beware and go to Big Springs for better service.
Now to add to this our starter was bad took to different shop and not the trim pump this place said so this place misdiagnosed our boat and wonāt replace under warranty the starter they put in not even 8 months ago. Maria was rude and has no compassion owning the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience(s) this last week were fantastic. While traveling from out of state to spend time with my family on our boat HAD potential to be spoiled on day one due to a broken choke cable. After purchasing a wake board earlier that morning from a very polite crew up front (Larry and Nicki), I knew who I should call first while in the middle of the lake. A skilled tech went the extra mile to squeeze me into their busy schedule to get us back up and running so we could enjoy the remaining 5 days of our trip on the water. Their prices were fair regardless my circumstances, and the friendly service makes me look forward shopping (and repairs) on our future trips...
