EPIC! One word to describe our first skydiving experience. Skydive Ogden (Odgen Skydiving Center) has the most incredible team. Beginning with Suzanne for making the reservations. She expertly addresses all your concerns and puts you at ease from the start. On the day of your jump, she gets you signed in and then turns you over to her incredible jumpmasters and photographers. Jonathan was my jumpmaster and Timmy was the photographer, an incredible duo. Jonathan explained everything that was going to happen with clear and concise instructions. I felt completely safe in his care from the minute we met to our landing. Besides keeping us safe, he captured breathtaking POV footage of our jump. Timmy is an outstanding photographer. He captured the entire adventure from the pre flight interview, walk to the plane, flight up to jump altitude, jumping out of the plane, free fall, and landing. His ability to fly around Jonathan and I during the freefall provided magnificent and scenic film and photos. If this is your first jump or not, having a photographer is a must to capture every moment. Timmy is the best. This was so much fun! They made me feel safe, and tried to keep conversation light to help with any nerves (which I didn’t have too many of). They quadruple checked the equipment and fasteners several times. U could tell they were very well trained, and I felt completely safe with them. I was lucky enough to get to jump with a squirrel guy who did upside down spins around us and was very entertaining (BONUS)!!! The person at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. It was a great atmosphere. We ordered the video and picture add on. We weren’t sure how these would be, and they are definitely pricey. But they have a cool watch camera on their wrist and took about 500 pictures! With that being said only about 15-20 were ones i liked but that’s plenty for me. When I first looked at the pictures my first thought was they didn’t turn out. I had seen the pictures they had up on their wall that were so perfect looking. But after I edited mine I got a few great ones! And the video they made was pretty cool, and probably my favorite part. They edit it and put it to music and it’s pretty fun to watch. I had such a fun experience skydiving yesterday at Skydive Ogden! I was super well taken care of from sign up and registration at the front desk to fitted with my harness and those taking pictures. Every one was so cheerful and made me feel so welcome. Nothing but positivity was displayed by all staff and other participants. My son and law and I had skydiving on our bucket list for a great years and decided to make it happen but we both were a little nervous when it came right down to it ! The plane ride was great and the scenery over the valley from the air was awesome! Kye was my instructor and he was super good in helping me to get ready for the jump and being very positive about the fun and joy of jumping. He did such a great job of guiding me in what to do while in the plane and in the air. It was so much fun and so exhilarating flying through the air and seeing the spectacular views from the sky! The landing was perfect which I was nervous about but had no reason to be because as we skidded in perfectly on our butts it was perfect and smooth.
