Rawson's Department Store — Local services in Okanogan

Rawson's is a gem of a store -- I always would take he time to visit and pick up a few items whenever I visited my in-laws living up the Chiliwist. I have purchased nearly every Western shirt I own and some amazing gifts there over the years such as boots for my wife. I can't say how lucky you folks are to have this place. There are worlds of good stuff there and of remarkable quality and great selection. From cowboy (and girl) boots and duds to outdoor clothing to great shoes and work gear and even some dressier items. The service cannot be beat. And I recall it being a family run store and finding myself and my wife being waited on by the town attorney who was a member of the family and working at the store that day. Super friendly and helpful staff. My granddaughter and I first went there a year ago when we were in town for high school rodeo. She bought a trendy western shirt and some boots for her horse. The shirt was a great find and the prices were great. Just last weekend we were in town for high school rodeo state finals and she bought “ice boots” for her horse. 5:30 am in -12° temps, I wasn't suited for the job I had to do. After traveling to three different locations to find insulated bibs, all bibs were estimated 40 to 200 dollars, cheap to best of course. And nobody had what I needed.
