We booked a free tour to see the horses. Ee arrived and were given instructions on where we were allowed to look. We took 4 young kids (18months-4.5years), and they loved it! It was a very clean facility, so no worries there. They had a place to sanitize hands. There are a couple of different places to see the horses. The barn is completely climate controlled, so it was comfortable even though it was chilly outside. Many of the horses were social and enjoyed the pets. Outside at the back barn, there is a covered porch where you can open a window to each horses' stable to say hello. These were the friendliest horses that we found! No entering the bak barn (I think the training barn). There were a few friendly farm dogs greeting us outside, as well. As far as a "tour" goes, there was no formal tour. You are basically booking a time slot to view the facility and pet the horses. There's also a giftshop with apparel, a couple of coin slot horse rides for kids (they will give you the coins to ride), and indoor restrooms. We spent around an hour here, but everything to offer can be experienced in...
Read moreThe guide that we had as well as the horses, cats, and dogs were all absolutely wonderful. We paid about $50 for two people, which lasted about 30 minutes on a guided tour. I originally was mistaken on the pricing and received a phone call from Tabitha, who was trying to make things right from a customer service perspective. I appreciate any business that's willing to reach out, because many of us that go out to places don't always know what our reviews going to be until hours after we've settled in at home from an experience. So to receive a phone call the same day I placed a review was nice and showed me how much care and consideration these individuals put into working here. I did share some feedback with her to let her know that for new folks in the area some clear instructions on where to go to start the guided tour would be helpful, and she handled that constructive criticism professionally. I appreciate that. I would definitely recommend any family check this location out, as well as any individuals or couples for that matter. Thank you...
Read moreThe kids loved this place, also I've never been here before either. They got to touch and pet the Clydesdale horses that weren't hooked up to the wagons for the hayrides, the horses we're all pretty receptive to the kids, even other people's kids that were yelling and screaming out of excitement and them horses didn't seem to mind that too much. The ones that aren't hooked up to the hayride wagons are in their stalls and while you wait in line for the hayride you can pet the horses in their stalls most of them will stick their heads out, I happen to be wearing a Realtree camo jacket that day and a couple of horses did try to nip at my jacket cuz they thought I was grass LOL! That being said they are horses, and like my PawPawpa always said it's got a mouth it can bite, they aren't trying to be mean they love the attention but they will put their lips on ya. My 3 year old son thought it was the coolest to be abke to pet the giant horses I'll definitely go there...
