ETA: I too find it incredibly unprofessional that the owner attempted to defend themselves on someones review and it is in fact inaccurate and false. In addition to putting personal information about our dogs, you can see that I am not the first to find it unprofessional. The owner did in fact return my call and state that the issue had been going on for 6 months, when I asked why we were never informed of this before so we could discuss it, she blamed it on an employee that is no longer with the company. Sorry, but I put that directly on the owner. It is very irresponsible to every pet in their facility if there was truly an issue that we were never made aware of. We have never seen these behaviors and we have 4 young kids at home and little dogs. Keep in mind, that we were told this was going on for 6 months. There are lots of things that could have been done for the safety of all dogs. They could have started with asking us to bring them at different times. As for the women they are blaming it on, I can't figure out who that could be because the person who I specifically talked to the last 2 times is still there. Take your dogs there at your own risk!
Original Post: Look carefully at both the outside and inside of the kennels. You can get much more for your money without having to travel very far.
We were recently and abruptly told that they could no longer help us as they are too busy and that our dogs require there to be fewer dogs in the play yard, after years of attending and asking questions about our dogs day, this was entirely news to us. We requested a call from the owner that has not been returned. I would think this would be important since we said that we were very put out by this and would like to discuss. Who wouldn't at least want to express how they feel. We have not received a phone call. They were so kind as to refer us to a kennel that is 30 minutes away. After doing a little research, we discovered you can get a much better price for a lot more amenities and space without even having to look very hard.
I believe this place has just taken a nose dive. In the last 4 months, I have called twice and been told that they have had reported cases of kennel cough from dogs who have been there. The last time I was also calling because my dog who is only ever at home or their kennel had kennel cough.
Please note, there are a number of us who have recently said this place has changed, so buyer be ware. I am just so glad we have not recently purchased a package as...
Read moreI wish i could give these guys a 100 stars. My boy Rooney went to daycare here for a few months and I cant say enough good things about the camp counsellors here. My boys favorite was Brittney. I gotta say he loved them all but she was just that special one ;-). She is one of the managers here and she went out of her way since day 1 to make him comfortable and loved. She just went down on her knees the first time they met and said the sweetest things so he would walk up to her and from then onwards always met him with the sweetest hellos. I love this girl for having taken such good care of my boy. He is mostly hairless and so is a special need dog and everybody at camp were very understanding of it. The camp counsellors here are super loving and caring towards the dogs. Almost every camp counsellor would greet my boy with the utmost love, respect and joy. This isnt easy to fake !! They love all dogs. period! There is no bias or prejudice here. They treat all dogs the same and they genuinely love our babies. My boy was always so happy to go to camp here. Most of the camp counsellors are parents to rescued dogs and cats themselves. I have never once heard anybody here yell or scream at the dogs. They are conscious and are caring enough not to ever overcrowd their yards. They will never talk bad about the dogs. I have spent a good amount of time talking to the camp counsellors here and know first hand that they work at camp because they genuinely love being with the dogs. They are all very competent, kind and so so so so dependable. I never once worried about my boy when he would go to camp here. Mostly everybody here is just fantastic at what they do. We had to move away from Kansas and i cant tell you how much we miss...
Read moreTook my dog to daycare while I went on vacation. I had heard great things about this facitlity. After my experience I will never take my dog back. I was on vacation for a week and I was having my friend pick him up on Sunday. Apparently my dog had been having bright orange diarrhea since early Saturday morning and NO ONE for the facility thought to call me. So when my friend picks up my dog he is covered from his tail to his feet in his own diarrhea. I had to give him a bath after I paid for him to get one there. My dog continued to have diarrhea all night and morning. I called Monday morning to speak with the manager. I was told she would call me back. I waited over an hour for her to call me back and I had to call her!! She laughed on the phone that I was upset that no one thought to call me and that I was on my way to the emergency vet because my dog won't eat or drink anything but according to the paperwork I was given he was "totally fine" the entire time he was there! As a first time customer not ok with her reasoning or responses. She had lots of excuses for my she couldn't call me back ( her excuse was she was installing a new credit card machine). She could give me no reason for my she didn't call me Saturday. My dog tested positive for Parvo! I wouldn't ever take my dog back there again. First time customer and this is my last time. I wouldn't trust my dog to a lady who thought it was funny that I was upset my dog...
