I’m sure glad they showed me the storage shed “excuse me the cube” I’ve never seen one in my life and I wasn’t sure what to look for. I was completely in a hurry to get my stuff unloaded, and get on with my life. But the rep said it was their protocol to view before completing the paperwork. If you’ve seen one storage shed you’ve seen them all. The girls in the office were customer oriented and polite, I also wasn’t happy about being pushed to complete the review. I was asked 3 times while in the office to complete one immediately. But because of cube space policy of making it an inconvenient for me and taking extra time out of my day to view something I knew exactly what I was renting I’m giving them a 1 star.
Update as of 2/15/2024 stopped by the storage this afternoon was making sure some electronics worked before putting them away. I plugged them in at the socket around the corner. The employee came around with the golf cart and told me that I need to unplug those items. I told her I will in a few minutes after I was done doing what I was doing. I went into the office and asked her if you don’t want your customer using the electrical maybe they should put up signs or lock the socket. I left the employee $1.58 to cover the electrical that I used. Later on into the day I got an email with there rules and regulations and they out lined that no one can used electric outlets or we could not have pets on their property. I called the customer service number to file a complaint because I felt like they were using retaliation because of the recent 1star review. Customer Service had Brian the district manager contact me. Brian told me that they were going to cancel my contract and I needed to remove my stuff by the 6th, because of the violations. Read moreThe facility is nice, but the management is awful! My son and I were trying to get everything moved in one evening and were 15 past the closure time. We were busy moving things into the unit and didn't realize it had gotten so late. When we pulled up to the gate and realized the time, we had to call the 800 number listed to get out. We were given 3 different "emergency" codes and none of them worked. Management (Pam) was called and had to come out to see why the gate wouldn't open. Before she would let us out, she stood at the gate and gave me a 10 minute lecture on how she does NOT answer calls past 10pm and I am lucky she answered. And, if this ever happened again, I would have to spend the night trapped in the facility. She then tried several codes and the gate still would not open. She then proceeded into the office and had to do something to open the gates. Never in my life have I been spoken to like I was spoken to by this manager. This was completely unacceptable! First of all, she obviously knows nothing about customer service. Second of all, if she doesn't want to answer phone calls after hours, she probably shouldn't be in a leadership position. We have 3 units there and I am currently looking to move all of our things to a different facility because of her behavior. Read moreI was certainly WOWED with my cubesmart experience!!!! My most WOWED... day i guess would have to be the day I opened my stg unit up and realized I had items missing. My family lost about 12-15 thousand $$$$ worth of property. Te sentimental value of some items..priceless!! Oh, and to WOW me even more... Cubesmart doesnt really appear to give a rats _ -- --!! Manager doesnt know anything.. The District Manager...hasnt returned my call...Customer Service more or less blew me off.... So.. if you want to get WOWED. THE CUBESMART WAY...inquire about there stg facility... i have no doubt....there is one...
