Her Woodcraft — Local services in Old Saybrook

We have know the owner of Her Woodcraft for many years and saw a raw talent develop as she began her wood working career. We visited her workshop and we’re very impressed with all the equipment she had and saw many other pieces that she was working on that were such beautiful craftsmanship in our opinion. We asked if she would be interested in building us a custom cabinet for under our TV to house all the electronic components. She suggested a floating shelf/cabinet with 2 drawers and 2 opening doors. We chose walnut for our build so it would match the rest of our decor in our home. The piece was completed in a matter of weeks and delivered to our home for installation. My wife and I are so pleased with our new piece of furniture we had them build us some floating shelving. They came out beyond our expectations.

Her Woodcraft is amazing! I first ordered my desk and loved it so much I asked her to do a table for me. Both peices are so well built and stunning. They are peices that will be around for a long time and maybe even become heirlooms so definitely worth the little extra for a gorgeous custom peice. Lindsey is so talented. She was a pleasure to work with, was open to ideas, and very responsive. She was on schedule for the times she quoted for build and delivered the peices, ensuring they were assembled properly. My wife and I have purchased over a dozen cutting boards and a custom dining room table from Her Woodcraft (Lindsey). 4 of the cutting boards we currently use for ourselves and the rest have been gifts to friends and family. The table is a timeless piece that we know will stay in our family for generations. It’s evident in her work how much pride she takes in her craft.
