Was treated very nastily by a nurse at this office. My husband needed a simple refill on his prescription that he was running out of so I called in (which let me clarify I had been doing this for him for about 6 months to a year since he works nights and sleeps during the day so I handle things for him.) I was argued with by the nurse Madison who refused my request for the refill claiming all of a sudden that "it would be illegal" since they have no form on file stating I was allowed to do so. ??? When I questioned how can that be since I’ve been doing this now for almost a year she began rudely talking over me, wouldn’t let me speak and kept arguing with me when I simply asked what the issue was. She said she couldn’t tell me anything because "IT’S THE LAW.” ???? I even explained to her that the nurse Jerry confirmed to me that the form giving me permission was on file. Multiple times I spoke with him on the phone when I would call in for a refill and there was never any issue. I tried to explain this to her. She just kept acting like I was trying to be difficult or give her a hard time. Her irritation with me was obvious. I eventually had to raise my voice at her just to be heard, she wouldn’t let me speak and became condescending. It’s my right to be able to ask a simple question, given the fact that I've been doing this for a while now for this to happen was bewildering. Fast forward now she has since left an extremely nasty lengthy note in my husband's mychart records falsely claiming that my husband had “2 months” amount of medication left (he had NONE left hence why I was calling…), made claims that I kept “demanding” to know something that “violated hipaa”… I’m sorry what??? That never happened? He is my husband and the form giving me permission was on file so how it became lost or unable to locate is beyond me and not my fault. That is all I was trying to get to the bottom of is what happened to the form?? She was talking to me like I was just crazy. She kept robotically repeating the same thing over and over every time I would start to say anything. She has twisted everything on the mychart record in an attempt to portray me as mentally ill for voicing that I felt how she was handling it all was unacceptable. Putting in quotes that I told her she "is mental." No. What I said was (out of sheer exasperation) "if you think this is an acceptable way to treat someone, refusing to let me speak, etc then you need mental help” which I absolutely stand by because it's not okay to talk down to patients or their family members like this and it's not okay to fabricate a narrative on my husband’s mychart account demeaning my character. There is no accountability here, no concern for my husband who was going to have no medication for days because it was now the weekend. She kept telling me to have him call but wouldn’t listen when I said that was impossible with his work/sleep schedule. The note stated I "kept growing more and more frustrated" hmm I wonder why… she stated I said “we will never come back” ( those were not my words) I told her my husband was looking for a new doctor, that we’d had enough of the nonsense from this office and were done, something along those lines since he was never really happy with the doctor in the first place who just seemed too eager to just prescribe a bunch of unnecessary meds and not dig deeper to get to the root cause of anything. The nurse ended the note by stating that I “hung up on her when she was talking.” Yeah I did because I wasn’t going to be disrespected anymore. And the supervisor she claimed would call me on the following Monday so I could discuss the situation with never did and my husband didn’t get his medication. The issues from this office were ongoing even before as they kept sending my husband's prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy, and then nobody returning my phone calls. Husband was supposed to be given a referral to a specialist, never happened. One of the worst experiences dealing with a...
Read moreNice enough facility, and reasonably friendly staff. I went in because I knew I had the flu. They tried to give me a flu swab which apparently did not take. Instead of giving me another swab the doctor came in and told me that he doesn't think it's the flu and it's probably just bronchitis. I was prescribed a bunch of medications that I never even needed and continued to suffer with the flu for 5 more days, the whole time wondering why I was not improving. The rest of my family, including my children all then proceeded to get the flu. I called back to let the doctors know that, and all they wanted to do was try to reschedule me after putting me on hold for 10 minutes. They spoke to me like I was a moron and didn't want to hear my story, as dangerous as it could have ended for my family. Clearly they cut corners to get people in and out of the office, so...
Read moreI wish I could speak more highly of this place because the nurses and receptionists are quite amazing and very friendly. But this place has a big problem with keeping to schedules. I've been coming here for a few years. The last 3 visits it took them well over 1 1/2 hours after my scheduled time to even acknowledge me. Unacceptable. Most of us have schedules and jobs we are making time from to have a doctor visit. I understand it's unpredictable at times servicing your patients but it's completely unprofessional and unfair leaving your scheduled customers hanging in the waiting room sometimes hours after they were suppose to be seen. For that reason I can't recommend you come here unless you don't mind being seen at 2pm for your noon...
