Blue Crab Bay Co. — Local services in Onancock

I have spent thousands of dollars on pottery that is all supposed to be dishwasher and microwave safe. Until recently, the pottery, an extensive place setting of 8 plus extra pieces, was not used much. A bowl cracked in the microwave and I contacted them. They were not very helpful and the best they could do, after I jump though their hoops, was replace the bowl at the same price I paid years ago (I had to pay for a replacement!). You would think that after thousands being spent, plus the fact that I was placing yet another order for additional items, they would treat a customer better. Very nice pottery, but I don't trust using them in the microwave anymore. Maybe there was a flaw with the one one bowl, but in any case, if one cracks through no fault of your own, don't expect a replacement. Very poor customer service and...

We actually stayed on the property as part of Harvest Hosts. Unfortunately the store was closed when we stayed but we purused their web site and are really disappointed we couldn't shop. The location is beautiful and our stay there was amazing. There is a small airport at the end of the street, so we heard some planes ocassionally but nothing disturbing.
