It's an awesome & beautidul place for kids to play ball.......buuuut there are a few problems with the leagues. This was the first year my child has played for the BCYL and I noticed that you have great coaches and NOT so great coaches, some coaches just give up and forfeit games after kids work so hard all season. Then you have the coaches not show up when the tournament starts, or BCYL wouldn't even postpone the tournament games to have all the players there to even play. We had 6 kids not come because of VBS, we barely had enough to even play. When you go from winning all games in season to forfeiting the last game of the season, then not having the whole team there to even play the tournament. Something should change!!! The tournament games should have been postponed to a day when all the kids could be there, NOT during the week that everyone is in VBS. It's really disappointing to my child to just have the Championship game took from her after playing so hard all season. It looks like it might be rigged for that team to win after forfeiting to them the last game and coaches and kids not coming to tournament. Change schedule so every child can be there!!!
