Dollar General — Local services in Oneonta

I heard that DG was adding fresh produce. Went today and I was overwhelmed. The variety of produce that's fresh clean well displayed. Mr.Clyde, Mrs. Sandy, Mrs Lida ( I'm sorry if the names are mis spelled or incorrect) have been working so hard stocking coolers and shelves. I no longer have to go to Walmart or to Ashville. This is a dream come true. I just couldn't understand why no company couldn't see the demand. Thank you Dollar General for meeting the needs for us rural folks. Truly impressed with the quality of foods you are providing. I left with 2 full buggies 🤗 just came back from DG and air conditioning is not working. Very hot especially for the employees. To dangerous here in the south. We have heat warning ⚠️. Please think about your wonderful employees and. They need cool air and a noticeable raise. I had to make an emergency run because I was making a salad for church and I ran out of sour cream and we have a Dollar General a mile and a half from my house in the middle of nowhere and it has been a lifesaver to have this store better than a convenience store because you can get anything and everything from food to close to gardening all in one spot and I had a little difficulty bit but due to the fact that they were going to do inventory on Monday there was a lot of stock out but everything that I needed was on the Shelf and it was actually cheaper for me to get it there then to go 10 miles into town to the grocery store or 13 miles the other way to another store so I got everything I needed to plus I got a couple of clearance items for my Christmas presents all in all cashiers and the manager were a great help to me and I will always go back to the store up on...

Store easily laid out. Can find stuff fast for those who travel they have a small selection of Alabama gear. Makes great souvioners & they are cheaper than the BIG stores. Staff is helpfull if you get stuck & need directions. Heard the ONE cashier give directions 3 times while I was there. Friendly local people willing to help out if you need a jump start. Great place.
