The Gym — Local services in Oneonta

I have been a member here for 3 years for the most part it is a great gym it's clean they have lots of machines and plenty of amenities. But today I asked about using one of their amenities the ice bath a nice gentleman said he'd look into it for me he was very polite then two women one of which was gray haired came out to make sure I wasn't in there and informed me in a loud voice in front of everyone in the pool area (which admittinly was four people) that that amenity was for paid members and then you had to pay extra after you pay to use it as if my membership hasn't been paid on time every time for the last 3 years. For her to insinuate that I don't pay my bills when my membership has been paid on time for 3 years was absolutely disrespectful and humiliating I'll take my business elsewhere

This is a really nice gym. I have never had any problems until today when I spoke with a manager named Lynn about how they were still taking money out of my account when my year contract ended last month. I did not renew or sign another years contract. She was very rude and very unprofessional. I have never had any problems with staff until today. Everyone is always so nice and so helpful. If you do not write a written statement stating that you don’t want to renew your contract they will just keep attacking your bank account. Love this gym but the management and front desk could use improvement. I had a previous contract, for which the payments stopped coming out, which made me assume the contract was up only to be hit with $300+ at once plus a late fee 6 months later. Management couldn’t explain why the payments stopped coming out or what happened and still had to pay them. If the payments would have came out the way they were supposed to, I would know I had a contract for a service I wasn’t using and would have cancelled, but I had to pay 6 months worth of service not even provided.
