Great spot to spend the night. I'm a female camper who sleeps alone in her car with her dog. We felt very safe. There was plenty of lighting when needed. Plenty of bathrooms. Proximity to interstate is very loud. I didn't see anyone tent camping. Lots of RVs. I'd give this location five stars except bug s were wild. So many bugs. And the entire site is on a grade. I had a hard time getting myself leveling rig to level enough to sleep properly. Other than that it's super beautiful. If safety is your number one concern I'd say go for it. Also it seems that there is Wi-Fi. I parked a little too far away but I did notice that it existed. No potable water or even running water with covid. Just porta potties

Un lugar para pasar la noche muy tranquilo, un Ɣrea de descanso con una bonita vista, baƱos muy limpios al igual que su exterior.

Rest area has been closed but there were plenty of porta potties in the surrounding area (I know) but the good news is they were very, VERY clean and it was well stocked. There was no type of smell whatsoever. My only issue is, they could have had the little pump sinks to go along with it but the hand sanitizer does it’s job. It had a wide open area to allow your pets to use the bathroom or to simply stretch those legs of yours. There were picnic areas to eat with serene views as well. Very pretty area!

Usual restroom facilities for a rest area, no paper towels, air dryers for hands. Beautiful views, nice picnic shelters.

The last time I stopped there someone smoked a cigarette in the women's restroom which is unlawful in Idaho (public place) so it reaked. Usually people are more respectful and smoke outside where the buttkicks are, or in their personal vehicles.

This is one of my usual stops on I-84 when I don't have a lot of time to pull into a truck stop for a break, or when I'd rather have a more relaxed 30 minute or so break. Then I can choose to walk around and enjoy the view.

Also the staff for the welcome center weren't in because it was Sunday, but there are maps and pamphlets available...

On a road trip, we stopped here to use the restroom and let the dog get some exercise. My husband goes inside the welcome center. Road trip, stop at Idaho welcome center and snake river view rest area. The older man working there starts complaining about Biden, my husband mentioned the many good things he’s done, he started to question him and where we were from, then he proceeded to give my husband a little smack and grabbed him. He is a tall guy, it didn’t hurt, but keep your hands off strangers. Our first couple of minutes in Idaho and we get get attacked. His name was Dave, don’t...
