I have purchased furniture from this store over the years. The sales people (many of which are not with the company anymore) were excellent. Pam is very helpful. Recently I had back surgery and bought an adjustable bed. I replaced the box springs that came with the bed, that by the way, I purchased at Goree's as well. In replacing them I got rid of the railings as well. Now that I don't need the adjustable unit anymore, I decided to go back and repurchase new box springs but I needed railing as well. The sales associate explained to me that the bed has been discontinued so they didn't have the rails, but that she would see what she could come up with as a substitute. After a day or so I spoke with the owner and he said that any rail system would work. I explained to him what the associate told me and he disputed her position. He sent the delivery team out with the box springs and the railing system. Needless to say that disassembled my bed, moved the adjustable unit to the garage and attempted to put the railing system up. It did not work. They said they knew what I needed, but they would have to go back to the store and get it, after they made another delivery. After a few hours of them not returning I called back and spoke with the person who coordinated deliveries. He said that it was close to closing and he really didn't know what he could do. He said let me check and I will call you back. At 5:55 pm, after I hadn't heard from him, I called back and the owner answered the phone. I told him what happen and he said to me "well, ain't nothing I can do." He said, "It'll be Monday before I can get someone back there." I said to him that my bed is disassembled and I just had back surgery. I said " so you aren't going to send them back to at least put my bed back together?" How am I supposed to sleep. He said, "If I were you I would just put the box spring and mattresses on the floor and sleep like that." I told him that was not acceptable. He said well We just need to give you your money back . I said I agree. He never apologized for anything. I will never do business with this mom and pop operation EVER!! You try and buy local and this is the way faithful customers treated. The owner has always gotten angry when I call to ask for anything to be corrected or done right. I am always polite to any of his staff, and he is always nasty and unaccommodating.    Read moreWe bought a couch and love seat almost a month ago, I new it was on back order. Our sales lady said she would call and let me know when it arrived. I called today and someone told me it has been there a few days.(no phone call) ask about deliver there booked for a week so my husband gets off work to go pick up our furniture for our new house. When he arrives he had NO loading help while the sales reps stood on the loading dock and apologizing for no ware house help. Well my opinion they could have helped load the heavy furniture or tired. My husband had to go into the the ware house and picked up the couch himself since it was on the display floor where someone placed it. We are still waiting on one piece to come in, I guess I will have to call weekly to make sure it hasn’t arrived. I wasn’t told if my scotch guard was applied after paying 125.00 extra.    Read more1st when we came in the sales person was behind a counter cutting up with a vendor. We waited several minutes before she asked what we were looking for before continuing her convo with the vendor. She then told us "we dont have many but let me show you what we do have" before walking us through a maze of furniture through 2 buildings to a catalog on a stand which she started thumbing through. I asked if they had any on site and she said "Yeah but only 2", I asked to see what they had and she proceeded to walk us back through the maze and past her desk to a room 5 feet from her desk where they had 2 of what we were looking for. One was pretty much exactly what we wanted and when we asked about the cost she went back to her desk and started another convo with another employee then took about 10 minutes to get us the price. While this all was going on, I found the furniture online for $100 less. Not sure if we will waste anymore trips here when we shop...
