Crawdads — Local services in Orange

My cousin barely evacuated from Hurricane Ida. His driver was kind enough to just get him across the LA/TX border. He was dropped off at this huge convenience store to wait for me to come pick him up. The owner told him he had to wait outside...IN THE RAIN for his ride. My cousin had over 3k in cash in his pocket... he was not asking anyone for money or trying to steal anything. He was also dressed in a button-down dress shirt, but this store owner must have been terrified of him to force him to stand outside in the rain for his ride, which was me...and I live 3 hours from this store location. So my cousin waited in the rain for 3 hours, and after already having lost his house to the storm, his cell phone was ruined by the rain.

I refuse to support businesses with these same lack of values, and I know that other people out there will appreciate this info for the same reasons. 🙏...

Looks pretty welcoming to folks. Outside is clean and nice! The store is nice as well! However, the staff was not very well mannered, no real good selections on snacks, and bathrooms were nasty. Both male and female bathrooms. And last but not least... they racial profile...🙁. My family and I went to pay and the lady said “we don’t take food stamps” before we even pulled out our form of payment...& Based off of my profile picture you knew what she was assuming... me and my fiancé are vets and are well off. It’s very disheartening. The staff needs to welcome everyone the same no matter what they think that persons...

I've lived right by Crawdad's for about 8-9 years and loved going there. Had great people & moz grill had amazing food. Ever since it has changed to Exxon and there is a new owner, it has been terrible. Moz grill is not good anymore. The gas pumps NEVER work. There is only one light on in the parking lot. There is pot holes everywhere. They have a pile of dirt just sitting in the drive in-area that I've almost hit multiple times at night because there is no lights. The place is just being junked up with unnecessary stuff. I don't even think Crawdad's deserve one star, it is so...
