Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Orangeburg

I like shopping here for their meat selection. Very clean store. Most employees very friendly. This particular time at the checkout completely ruined the whole experience. Perhaps if employees are tired and not feeling like serving the public they should request not to be on the front line in the checkout. I used one card to checkout and was denied. I used my debit card and the machine was “stuck” and not responding. Asked what it was doing. She said waiting on you Tried again still no response. I said there must be something wrong with the computer. She stated no it’s your card it keeps saying denied. I informed her there was no way, that the computer must be acting up. She stated I doubt that, it’s you. After third attempt it went through. I said amazing, it finally worked. She continues to state it was me not the computer I told her to try and have a nice day to which I hear her talking about my card being denied to the next customer in line. I do like shopping at our local Piggly Wiggly, but for some strange reason while I was checking out, I went to my friend’s line. He came over and was helping me unload the grocery buggy. What I DO NOT appreciate is the Manager getting on my friend because there was three baggers at this register. How about get on the other 2 that showed up while he was helping me.
