So I am a collector of old Colt Revolvers, ie: Vipers mostly as I have a lot of them like a lot more than any normal person would ever need. Let's just say that when I call the Colt Custom shop they recognize my number immediately. So I recently decided to sell a couple of my Vipers to acquire something else that is completely not necessary or needed. This is where Maple Ridge comes into the story. I sold one of my Blued Vipers to a very nice fellow named Anthony and of course we spent close to an hour on the phone/text telling lies about our collections as most of us do. Here is the caveat he purchases the Viper from me on Thursday October 10th and asks how it will be shipped? Because as you know once you pull the trigger and actually give your CC number you cannot get that new Revolver into your collection fast enough. The thought of having to wait for it can be excruitating . Knowinng this as his daughter was getitng marruied on Saturday the 12th and he could only pick it up on Friday I called Devin at the Custom Shop who is amazing by the way and so easy to work with. He gets it shipped out for us overnight mail for a Friday arrival to Anthony's chosen FFL, Maple Ridge Sports Center. Here is where it goes off the rails, Anthony is waiting for a phone call to say your 1977 Viper has arrived come pick it up but at 2:00 he has wedding stuff and is not available anytime after 2:00 to pick it up. What makes matters worse is the store is closed on Sunday & Monday so if he does not get that phone call before 2:00 he literally has to wait 4 days to get his newest acquasition. 4 days knowing is is down the street that is like forever it is kind of like when the dentist says this Novocaine shot will only take 3-4 seconds. Well let me tell you that is the longest 3-4 seconds in the world. So know upset that we spent a lot of money overnighting this with insurance I called Maple Ridge and ask to speak to the owner and one of the employees Larry Recla actually hears my ask and without missing a beat says to me, "no problem" Let me clear this with Renee the owner and within 5 minutes he calls me back to say I can open the store on Sunday for Anthony it would be my pleasure. Talk about above and beyond, this guy is my hero. Larry Recla you should not be paying for your own drinks ever. You are awesome. If you need a gun shop in the area the only place I can recommend is Maple Ridge Sports Center and ask for Larry he is simply an amazing person who cares. My hat is off to you...

Read moreA real firearms dealer! Not the local wannabe swat team. The firearms industry is ever changing and nearly impossible to keep track of every new product. Renee has an immense and irreplaceable amount of knowledge on the industry as well as a respect for her customers. (Ego usually over rules customer service in this world) For a real down to earth firearms buying experience this is without a doubt the place you want to visit. (It gets busy in there usually but don't let that discourage you from a great...
