Came to this golf course last month and didnât have a chance to review yet. Wasnât surprised to see someone else had mentioned how rude the woman at the front was. Brown hair. Not to mention my wife had called a week before we were to arrive, and said the woman on the phone was rude. Sure enough, she was very rude from the moment we walked in. A group of 2 men and 2 women. We had never been to this course and had some questions, which she seemed irritated to have to answer. Seemed irritated when we walked in and she was having lunch with some guy and had to get up and help us. Not sure why she was irritated considering there was nobody on the course. Wasnât informative, or helpful.
When we were on the golf course, 2/3 of the way through hole 1, a regular at the course showed up behind us on hole 1. He didnât need to wait long because we are not amateur golfers and move pretty quickly.
When we got midway through hole 3, we were met by a worker who cut us off on his golf cart and told us the woman at the front told him we need to âlet the regularsâ go ahead of us, so they didnât have to wait. We paid just as much as the âregularâ and Iâve never been asked to move out of the way, mid hole to accommodate a âregularâ What the hell is that about? Canât imagine how they treat people that are new, or have never golfed before.
Would not recommend. The girl up front needs some serious training on etiquette and how to run a business. Not to mention the course itself is very confusing. Spend your money and time somewhere else. Judging by the numerous other comments about the cashier/owner being rude, her nasty...
Read moreThis is a 9 hole golf course with mostly straight away holes that play pretty easy. One thing I wish they would incorporate are tee times. The course can get extremely backed up especially when a lot of groups show up at once. The 1st tee can get 10 carts stacked very quickly creating slow play. Tee times would make the course a bit more enjoyable.
A few of the par 4s are drivable especially hole 1 which can be reached with a good hybrid or wood shot. The fairways are firm and usually kept in decent condition until fall when youâll find some to be ripped up in sections with sprinklers going. The greens are also kept in decent condition throughout the regular season until early fall and spring. Some of the greens are smaller than at most courses making them harder to hit in regulation which I really like. I would consider the price slightly higher than what it should be for all you get consider you have to hit from substitute tee boxes sometimes and fairways can be ripped up in-season for maintenance. But this is a good little starter course for families and beginner golfers. I would have rated the course 4 stars if they...
Read moreI have only been to this course one time and it was like playing golf in a cow pasture with all the undulations in the fairway. I can accept scattered patches of grass around the rough this early in the season but seriously, to have bare spots in the fairway. I was using my "foot wedge" to roll my ball around everytime I landed in the fairway just to put it in some grass that I could hit off of. I tried to call 4 times to get info and all I have gotten was an answering machine that says they don't take tee times. You can't even leave a message or talk to a person to find out if they are busy, or what the rates are.
The best part about this place when I was there was the beautiful young woman behind the counter that looked like she was in her young to mid 20's or so. Just sayin!!! So if I ever went back, it would be to ask her to dinner, not to play golf.
One more thing. GET A WEBSITE IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!!!! Even if it is just a web page that has a couple pics of the course and your rates. Throw in a pic of that girl at the front...
