Horrible experience. Missed pneumonia in both of my father’s lungs. Wouldn’t allow my mother into hospital to be with him even though head of admissions says one person is allowed in with patient and he wasn’t able to make his own decisions due to low oxygen. Said they would call the grand island hospital so we could skip the ER when we got there, after I drove him there myself, which they didn’t do. He spent over 2 hours in the ER before being admitted to the ICU. We had to argue with VCH just to get oxygen for him because they said he didn’t need it. Then they were more concerned about getting their oxygen tanks back than they were about saving his life. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay away from there.
