Absolutely horrible customer service! They require their assistant pack your tomatoes. One-quarter of a bushel was rotten-unusable tomatoes. Some had mold on them. Then upon complaint, they insult you, accuse you, try to intimidate you, tell you your attitude will not be tolerated, and tell you not to come back. This how they treated an elderly-disabled person. They intentionally sell you rotten food. Their bakery display has bugs in it, no telling how many bugs in the kitchen. Don't know how anyone can eat the baked goods after bugs crawl on it. I’ve been going here almost my whole life. I remember what a treat it was to go down the street and get ice cream. They made it feel like home. Today I had a nasty encounter with an older woman running the register. She absolutely scolded me for not saying I was using an EBT card. So she had to ring up my two items again. Proceeded to bash me about what I was buying (I bought a sweet treat for my kids to celebrate the first week of school). And was just all around rude. ........UPDATE .... I still Love this place.. you can read my original review from a few years ago. I have been back several timeS . finally got the apple fritter.. AMAZING.. LOOK.. if you want fresh doughnuts you have to get there before 1 pm to be assured to have your choice.. But even if you get there late. take it home warm in microwave and enjoy Michigan heaven . Loved this little stop. Best ... the BEST.. kruller doughnuts I ever ate. The apple fritters looked fabulous as well. Regretting not getting one.. May have to stop...
