The real gamble in a casino isn't the slots, which is all this casino currently has, it's who is in the casino, and it's the food. The place is brand-new clean, the people who greeted me were cool, so were the bar and the kitchen staff. This isn't a big casino, from one end of the building you can see the other end of the building. What's great is it's a smoke-free casino, which some may not like but my lungs appreciated it. The bar was clean and well attended, and the kitchen food was a home run. The casino is running a special where you get a $5 special burger, fries and a drink for signing up for casino rewards. I signed up, rolling the dice on what kind of lunch I would be having. What a pleasant surprise to have a burger that beat any drive-thru in town. Fresh, hand formed, beef burger, not a frozen patty, shredded lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, some special sauce, and some pretty decent fries. The fries were some kind of Sysco brand, seasoned and not bad at all. The burger was the star of the show. I was in a hurry and couldn't eat there, so I took it home and it was delicious. Now, I was tempted to give this casino a 4 star review because it lacks card tables and a formal sit down restaurant, but that's not what this place is. Someone shouldn't expect steak at a burger joint. This place will undoubtedly grow into a multi-floor facility with an attached restaurant, hotel, stage, gas station, rodeo grounds, airport, who only knows one day. Looked like a circus tent from afar, a work in progress I’m sure, on its early stages of expanding. Staff was very polite, and it almost appeared surreal outside and specially inside. Turns out that securing a player’s card has definite advantages. $20 play money which as chance may have it can increase dramatically, kind of like Beginners Luck, new casino sometimes delivers. Another plus is the Cafe offers some very attractive food offers with additional discount with a player card. How does Burger, Fries and a Soda for $5 sound. Sounded pretty darn good to us and tasted even better. Hunger at those prices don’t stand a chance. Slot and more Slot machines is what is all about.
