Robertson's Market — Local services in Oroville

This place has seen it's greatest days..it's too late to recover, the newer owners have destroyed everything. UNBELIEVABLE price gouging..it was 7 dollars for a gallon of milk and 6 dollars for a dusty, older thing of cheap pancake syrup. The products sit on shelves collecting dust for months, browning produce, the cashier sits there talking on phone in Armenian while you invisibly wait, very limited payment methods, etc. I miss the original Robertson's who used to own it 15+ years ago when you could run down the street to here if you ran out of milk or eggs or butter and not get robbed of your hard earned money. Do yourself a favor and drive an additional 2-3 minutes to Tower Mart, or you could even save money by going 2 blocks up to 7-11 or Feather Falls Mini Mart (although they aren't much better, but at least they won't empty your wallet...

I had taken two winning lottery tickets in. Both were 5 dollar winners. I only got 8 dollars out of both of them. Somehow I got screwed out of the other 2 dollars. One ticket was a crossword with bonus word. I had won the bonus word which was 5 dollars and then I had another word one which was 1 dollar x5 which should of been 5 dollars too. So somehow the worker had screwed me out of my other 2. I am not happy with that outcome. I even said something about it but she still wouldn't give me the full 10 I was owed. This place is horrible! Not only no one would answer the phone when I tried to call, but they wouldn't answer my call because someone was on the other line when I got there and I only live right down the road! The place was better when Frank owned it and the Ladies! Prices are way too high and the service was terrible, the man at the counter couldn't speak English and when I ask if they had lysol cleaner he said "I dunno" because he didn't understand me! Don't...
