I feel bad for only giving this business to Stars because the gentleman who own the business was very nice. However, I guess I was under the impression with an Amish furniture store, that the furniture would be made right there. Turns out that you basically see what's on the floor and order it from a catalog. I didn't go to Amish country with the intention on buying furniture but if someone was planning to make that trip for that reason, I would tell them to not waste their time. They could go to one of their local furniture stores or shop online and get the same furniture. I will say that they had a very small selection of furniture that is made right there in their community but if you're looking for sofas, chairs, and dining room sets, those are the things that I'm referring to. Read moreI bought a dining room table, chairs, and swivel bar stools from Woodland furniture. As agreed to during the purchase, I gave another week or two until the bar stools are ready for pickup. But I brought the table and chairs home. The craftsmanship and finish are amazing. You can flip the table and chairs over to see that there in not a square inch left unfinished. Also, they tell you, if any piece is ever damaged, don't throw it away! Bring it back and they will repair it to like new. If you've never seen and touched real quality Amish furniture, you'll be amazed. Just pulling a chair out and sitting in it you can tell how much stronger they are than regular furniture.
