I recently was driving from Wichita, KS to Kansas City and had a tire blowout. I had just gotten off of the KS Turnpike and onto I-35 Northeast. I had everything ready to change my tire when I found out that the OEM jack with my SUV did not raise the SUV high enough to remove and replace the tire. I called AAA and they located me using my cell phone location but it turns out they gave Jason of Lebo Garage Towing an incorrect location. Luckily, Jason called me to let me know he would be at my location in about 20 minutes. I am glad he called as I was able to give him some landmarks around me and he said he knew where I was and that he was given an incorrect location by AAA. True to his word he pulled up behind me in 20 minutes as promised. He introduced himself to me, we shook hands and I explained the situation to to me. He had a floor jack with him, jacked the tire up, put the spare on, and put on the lug nuts. I had my torque wrench with me and torqued the lug nuts. My axle snapped while I was on my way to KC, it was dark, freezing, there was snow everywhere, I was an hour from home, and couldn't find anyone available with flatbed towing. I had called earlier and he had originally said he couldn't because he'd been working pretty much 3 days straight and needed to rest. He called back about an hour later to see if I had gotten anyone. I told him I hadn't so he dug out his flat bed and came to get me because he didn't want me to sit out there all night. Shout out to Stacey and the Sheriff who did the job my insurance company failed to do. My husband hit a deer on his way home from work, and after being jerked around by my supposed roadside assistance for 2+hrs, the Sheriff called Lebo towing and they sent Stacy.
