It's been a rough couple weeks for my 80 year old mother. Her window a/c went out last week so I called the boys at Oshkosh Ace, and they found the perfect one for her, and her place. A 1400 BTU, at a competitive price, and installed it for her the next morning before it was hotter than blazes. Since I live 3 hours north. Then yesterday.. Someone above was smiling down on her.. I'm so grateful for the boys at Oshkosh Ace, yet again for coming through for my momma. She was cooking pizza for lunch and her 20+ year old stove decided it was done, the whole inside of the stove ignited in flames. Mom's fine, the house is fine. But the pizza didn't survive.. The pizza and the stove were total losses. Called the boys at Oshkosh Ace, told them mom would be over to choose her new oven, this morning. Kent walked her through the inventory and answered all her questions, expertly and quickly, this morning. They installed the brand new stove this afternoon. Just got off a video call from mom about a half hour ago, (yes, we can teach our aging parents how to do it, just be patient with them) where she showed me her new a/c again, and her absolutely gorgeous GE stove! She couldn't stop gushing about both of them. Unbeknownst to mom, I was getting constant text updates for delivery and payment confirmations. My daughter just moved to Ogallala and needed a refrigerator. From co-workers, the Ace Hardware was suggested. Jared was great! He sent me pictures of what they had in the store. Explained warranties and was bought and paid over the phone. My daughter set up the delivery day. The gentlemen did a great job of setting it up, getting the waterline taken care of, leveling it and the best part, my daughter had bought a case a beer the night before and it was setting on the counter and they were good enough to put it in the refrigerator for her before they left! I got a flat tire on a cross country trip. It was 10 PM at night and I happened to be changing my tire in front of ACE.

I had a lug nut seized up on the tire I was changing giving me a terrible time. Tonight was my lucky night as Nate, an employee of ACE, saw that I was broke down and not only stopped to lend a hand, but sold me the tools to get the lug loose. After hours folks!
