Booked an 11:04 tee time for just myself. Got to tee off about 5-6 minutes early. Finished the first hole with no problem. Get around to hole 2 and there is a group of 3 waiting to tee off. No problem. I wait for them to completely clear the green before I start the hole. Finish it with no problem. Get around to hole 3 and there are FIVE carts with SEVEN TO EIGHT people all teeing off together and they all just stare at me and don’t bother to ask if I wanted to play through lmao. I’ve played courses all over the US and I have never seen anything like it. I drive back to the clubhouse and return the cart so fast and don’t even bother about asking for a refund.

If you live at lake perry and can get a membership then this course is probably for you. If you are passing through and wanted to play a round DO NOT BOTHER at this establishment. It’s obvious they cater to their “good ole boys” crowd and you won’t be allowed to play through a group of 8 people. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because I was having fun those first 2 holes. Scott at great life Perry was a complete jerk (wish I could use another word) to us. Had a group of 4. 2 were coming from out of town and were 5 minutes late. Scott said they couldn’t golf for being 5 minutes late, then made us go early ahead of our tee time because the group in front of us was LATE by more than 5 minutes. I guess it depends on who you are if you can be late or not.

I got yelled at by Scott for my name not being legible on the sign in sheet when it was clearly legible and people above me were scribbling. I felt completely uncomfortable due to Scott being an @ss. He kept making rude comments and having an attitude. I’ll call Everytime and make sure he’s not working before I go back.

Very rude staff. Not aware of any dress code so when we showed up in golf attire that was sleeveless she said well if we were close to Walmart I would make you go buy a shirt, now I will be getting calls all day from the home owners about you wearing a tank top. Insinuating we would be bad golfers shes tells us to let anyone that comes behind play through. We ended up playing through two sets. One person in our group was over charged.
