Meadowview Golf Course — Local services in Owen

The course wasn't bad and the staff seemed friendly. With that being said I will not be returning to golf at this course for the following reasons. First I felt the price was far to high for the quality of the course. It's an 9 hole course I paid to play it twice with a cart and it cost me $46. I can go to an actual 18 hole course and pay $30-35 with a cart. I went on a Saturday and was expecting it to be busy I did not expect the circus that was taking place on the course. On hole 3 I ran into a group of at least 10 playing the hole, made it past them ran into another large group play together. When I went to start the round over at hole 1 there was a group of 6 just hanging out by the green, apparently one of their members ran back to the club house so they waited for him to return instead of finishing and moving out of the way. While I was heading back to the club house there was a party happening on the 5th tee box. I stopped counting at 25 people just standing on the tee box drinking...

Great place, beautiful 9-hole course, and super nice owners & staff. We had a family reunion golf outing with 18 golfers and they were spectacular hosts for golf, drinks, and food....

Ordered a steak sandwich, they assumed I wanted it rare. The steak was pale and raw and bled all over the chips they served it with. Maybe the golf is okay but I’m never returning...
