Disappointed. I discovered this little gem last week and wanted to make an effort to get there before they closed at 6pm. We rushed there after work and arrived around 5:50 to find several cars in the lot and several people inside. The look of concern when we walked in was the first thing I noticed. We assured them that we would be quick since they were closing soon and we knew that. We picked out some crab dip, a pot pie, a single soda, some pita chips and a bag of cookies. The lady who rang us up was very nice, I had $40 ready to go so when I heard $64.99 I was a bit taken aback but it’s a nice place and these are artisan products so be it. Since everyone was in a rush to leave the cash drawer had already been counted, it took well over a minute for three people to sort the change of $15.01. Meanwhile one of the staff started getting a bag out for our goods but then just stopped. Cool little place, prices are a bit steep and the staff clearly has places to be so maybe plan accordingly and pay...
Read moreI moved about 2 minutes from this market about 2 months ago. I used to live much closer to Baltimore City where ther were several, fine markets near me and was prepared to not have as much access to high quality, next level foods.
I have been delighted to shop at Corner Market about once a week. Yes, the prices are high but comparable where these products are sold at other stores. They sell the best of the best including very fresh, locally supplied meats, milk, and many other items in a nice, countryside setting with a chill, relaxing vibe. Ive found drinking the unpastured, local milk option has improved my skin. If you want a pleasurable shopping experience with the tastiest foods available in the area, this is the place you want to help support. Santonis Market is also a great place to shop in the Reisterstown area but Cormer Market has been a special experience...
Read moreI was looking for local vendor’s seafood that was sold at Catonsville’s Farmer’s market, Angelina’s Crabcake/Seafood and this was the only location who sells it now that Farmer’s market is out of season.
The store is easy to get to, not too far from the highways. It has plenty of parking. The store is cute but has variety of things from local vendors. I don’t think I noticed a fresh fruit or vegetable because I was not looking for that.
They have so much stuff though - meat, milk, nice, seafood, soup, chips, bread, and chocolate/desserts.
We even met the owner, Lauren, who was super friendly, helpful, and seemed really passionate about her store and her philosophy behind it.
We will definitely return to check out other local items. My only complaint is that I wish the store was closer to me since I live about...
