I was referred to this company Buy some mutual Quaintance I called Doug that was the first number that they gave me and they said they didnāt know if I could get a hold of him or not and gave me a couple other ones, but I did get through to Doug in the morning on Friday which is today April 5of 2024 He answered all I was thinking he would be able to do was give me a scheduled time. I didnāt know if itās gonna be a week. I didnāt know if itās gonna be a few days. I didnāt know anything but he said he would come out that afternoon. Didnāt give me a specific time said he had a job to finish which I was OK with I was grateful he told me as an emergency I I said OK yeah it is kind of emergency but OK whatever cause Iām without water I guess so thatās under his qualification as an emergency which is OK by me yeah I needed the water. I didnāt think youād be able to get to this because you electricians are busy. it starts snowing. I think itās 230 so I double check with him to make sure heās still gonna be able to make it. He says yes so I tell him I will continue waiting. I wasnāt sure I call him at 6:30. Are you still gonna be able to make it? He says yes we are leaving in half an hour. This job took a little bit longer. OK I told him I will wait 8:30 PM rolls around I call his phone it goes to a secretary automatic answering service on Doug ās phone. I asked the lady I says is this Doug ās phone she tells me This is well when he doesnāt pick up it goes straight to his phone answering service and they said all we can do is take a message and leave him a message and heāll get back with you so I did I still havenāt heard nothing it is 1012 at night , I get it if someoneās running late and has to reschedule and I tried today itās gonna be a few days. I got other stuff going on I get it but this guy no call no show kept on giving me the runaround the contractor board explicitly talks about this kind of stuff they do not want these kind of people in business , these kind of people will leave you high and dry. If they get in the middle of the job I can understand if he didnāt leave in the middle of a job and just told me and put me off but at least communicated I can understand that, but to not in communicate and keep me here instead just say all we ran into the stuff weāre not gonna be able to make it night thatās unprofessional , Iām just letting you guys all know you guys take it for what it is . Two other very large Utah companies said I needed to spend extremely large amounts of money on major repairs or unit replacement costing from $ 10,000.00 up to $30,000.00 if I listed the companies you would be amazed, but I believe in Karma and I have scrupulous. Long story short these honest respectful people fixed my air conditioning for less than $500.00 and said I had around 10 more years on the unit.
