First off, they were very knowledgable about their products, and listened to me about what I wanted, and some history about my previous mower, which they used to help me find the right mower for me. No pressure tactics, just thoughtful evaluation of what I was telling them I wanted. I needed it delivered on a Saturday which they readily accomodated.
After I got the mower home I had a couple of issues, so I called them the next day and found out one was just a break-in thing where the deck height adjustment was initially stiff, the other was a rattling when the mower was on. I left a message and they called me right back and even were willing to come out to the house and look at it and gave me some suggestions on things to check. It turned out that the rattle was from lowering the ROP when I was mowing around low branches. SMH! I've NEVER had this kind of service from a mower dealer - EVER. It's night and day compared to the Badboy dealer. The Badboy corporate philosophy is you're on your own after you take it off the lot. I say this from dealing with an issue from two dealers all the way up to corporate. Once they have your money that's the end. I bought a Scag Turf Tiger and all I can say is WOW! I had a Badboy previously and I'm pretty sure my chiropractor benefited from that purchase...now he's not gonna see me that much. Chelsea told me it would be a nice ride, but dang, I feel like I'm floating! Also that 40hp beast FLIES! I always thought a seat belt on a mower was kinda dumb but I'm not kidding, I needed it on this mower! I was cutting grass/weeds which were knee-high and of course no mower would get a perfect cut without two passes, especially at top speed, but it was decent after one pass and after two passes looked good. The thing is I did those passes at 12MPH! It only bogged down a little on some really tall juicy wet weeds, but never killed the motor. I did two passes in much less time than one pass on the Badboy! The Badboy dealer said I couldn't mow at the top speed on their 12MPH mower - it was more for getting around from one place to the other but I would have to mow at a slower speed. No so with the Scag! I love Oxford Saw and Mower because they're local and customer oriented, and pretty much bend over backwards to keep the customer happy. I recommend this family-owned local business without...
