We were invited to what I call a SOFT opening. A true trial run for the park and staff. We were very pleased and thankful for the invite. From the first turn onto the grounds everything has been great and very easy. We were greeted at the entrance and instructed to pull up under the canopy. At the canopy the greeted us with big smiles and welcome. They asked us both to go inside to be checked in. At the desk the took our name and gave us our wristbands and told us where our site was. Our camper is small and we had no problems parking on our pull through site. I saw several other big class A’s were kindly escorted to their site, I’m sure for everyone’s safety. The staff checked to make sure if we needed anything. Even the owner stopped by to welcome us. All the sites are concrete, level with full hookups. Plenty of room for a “grove popup” type canopy. The bathhouse was outstanding with private bathrooms/showers. The laundry hookup are there but not installed yet, but will be shortly. The cottages are SO VERY nice. With parking for 2 vehicles. Queen bed and twin bunks. Upstairs are sleeping for 2-3 more. And a couch that makes into a bed. Big bath and full kitchen. Although with the canteen why would you cook. The water park looked like so much fun. The kids were having a blast. Finally something for the kids to enjoy in Oxford. With an adult swim up bar WOW.. Food was very good, served with smiles and thank you’s , same for the bar. Healthy size portions food and liquor. The staff at the camp store was very accommodating and pleasant. It’s well stocked for those little things you might need or want. They also have WiFi that works very well. If you’re coming to Oxford for a game, graduation or just to want enjoy the water park, it’s a very nice place to stay. Either in an Rv or one of their cottages. Oxford...
Read moreLet's just get this out the way right now: This is a beautiful RV park! But it's not just an RV park! It's a place where memories will be made! There are lots of amenities to enjoy, and the park is thoughtfully laid out. Paved roads throughout and spacious, level concrete pads.30/50 hookups. There is a fire ring and a grill at every site. There are bathhouses, laundry facilities, and a fitness center. There is a big playground for the kiddos, and a large dog park for the pups. There is a cute miniature golf course as well as 2 pickleball courts. They sell propane and firewood and even have golf cart rentals. The camp store was really nice and sold all the things you might forget or want. We spent some great time in the Arcade because I forgot how fun pinball and ski ball was! There is a yoga pavilion overlooking a small pond...very peaceful. The Canteen sells some really yummy food, and I personally recommend the pizzas, the wings, and the chicken on a stick!! So good! But I guess maybe the star of this beautiful park might be the water amenities!! 2 different pools. One is an adult only pool with a swim up bar! So cool! There are huge, colorful waterslides, a splash zone ,and a really great lazy river! Oh, and 2 hot tubs to soak all your cares away. Also located in this park are 20 cottages in case you don't have an RV or want family to come and stay. The cottages can accommodate 6 people( no more due to fire regulations) and are so darn pretty!! Not like a dusty cabin. These are tiny homes, and they are beautiful! I also want to say how nice and helpful all the employees were! Everyone we came into contact with was personable and pleasant and just made our stay here that much nicer! We loved our stay here and think you will too! Go for a few nights and take advantage of all this RV and water resort...
Read moreRoundabout far exceeded my expectations & is the premier family entertainment spot in Oxford!
I was fortunate to bring my family of 6 to the soft opening a few weeks ago. My kids cried when we left…ha!
A few things that stood out:
Staff & Service - Roundabout staff were everywhere, all smiling, checking on guests, & helping out however possible. They went so far as to refill our fire pit each morning! First class service.
Water Resort - The best part - My kids enjoyed the water slides, swam in the lazy river, played on the splash pad, played pool basketball, and hung out in the hot tub. For adults, Cabanas, swim up bar, food service, adult hot tub, sun / shade, in a safe and secure environment. Kids can run and play, adults can visit, enough space to really enjoy family time with lots of kids.
Cottages - we stayed in a cottage. It slept all of us perfectly. It had big cast iron fire pit and grill. We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to the Lodge & Water resort….a fun & convenient part of the experience for sure!
Arcade - who doesn’t love an arcade?
The property - this place is huge, clean, and very well put together. It holds a lot of people without feeling crowded.
RV pads - we had friends in RVs at Roundabout while we were there. The RV pads are super close to the lodge & pools, making it easy to go back and forth throughout the day.
Food & Drink - we had breakfast lunch and dinner at the lodge. The food was fantastic…highly recommend the wings! The bartenders and drinks were great too. Again, the staff at roundabout made everything so seamless….it was easy to relax as a parent.
We really enjoyed our stay as we were able to spend time with friends and family (grandparents included) in a really great atmosphere. It had something for us...
