TLDR; BEST FLOWERS EVER FOR YOUR WEDDING. As with all things wedding-related, every single aspect is important and requires a lot of research and attention. If you are here scrolling through reviews and culling through the vast resource that is the internet for where to start when hiring a florist, LOOK NO FURTHER! You have arrived. I chose Southerly Flower Farm for my wedding flowers for a variety of reasons. The first reasons is because they are sustainable. If you start looking in to the floral industry, you realize that there is a lot of waste and pesticides and treatments that go into flowers, especially floral arrangements. I wanted to avoid some of that without sacrificing aesthetics, and Southerly was the exact answer to that dilemma. The second reason I chose Southerly is because they have GORGEOUS flowers-absolutely beautiful, seasonal colors and arrangements. Just look up some of their stuff on instagram. You'll be sold instantly. The third, and maybe the most important reason, was because they were incredibly easy to work with and had a broad range of options and pricing combinations. I was able to order some of the boutonnieres and corsages crafted by them and then, to save money, I ordered big buckets of flowers for bouquets and table arrangements that my bridesmaids helped me put together the night before the wedding. This part was really important to me, because I tried to have the most sustainable, budget friendly wedding I possibly could- and I did! I truly could not have pulled that off without the help...

Sarah, Lauren, and the whole southerly crew were so amazing to work with! Once I found them on Instagram and learned that they grow their own flowers I was sold. I wanted to make sure the flowers I used were local and in-season. I was also very drawn to her free-form style and lucky me I had a wedding during dahlia season. I wanted something that was more free and organic looking and they did exactly that. I gave them some photos of centerpieces that I liked but nothing too specific. I asked her to put her touch on it and she did such an amazing job. I was so excited when she dropped off my bouquet and when I walked into the reception area. She also discussed her farming techniques with my dad when she dropped the flowers off at the venue and he couldn't stop talking about her regenerative growing practices. It's so cool to see a wedding vendor that is into environmental sustainability. Everyone at the wedding could not stop talking about the flowers and I am so happy to have pictures to remember them by. Sarah, Lauren - thank you so much for all of your hard work. Southerly Flower Farm made our wedding so special! I had a vision, but could never give Sarah any specifics and she was able to take my few little ideas and turn it into exactly the feel I imagined but SO much better than I could’ve dreamed up. It felt really special to have the flowers coming straight from their Chattanooga area farm, and I love that they use sustainable methods to create the arches and table settings. Just a great feel overall! She was willing to make anything work for my budget but also provided me with different levels of what she could do for each budget which was very helpful . She and Matt arrived early to set everything up perfectly and they took care of taking everything down after, and made sure I didn’t have to worry about anything.
