I had a horrible experience at this salon. I called to get an appointment to get some beach waves put in my hair for my wedding, I was told there’s only one person available that day and she is a level one. Reluctantly, I did accept an appointment with Chelsea.

The following week my daughter came in for an appointment with Angie (regular) we were very pleased with Angie’s work and I told her I was coming in myself for an appointment for a bridal hair with the only person available on my wedding day. Angie took me over to meet Chelsia who didn’t look happy at all to meet me , she had a snarl on her face and I showed Angie and Chelsea a hair that I was thinking of she took a picture. I also told her I had some hair pieces to put in too.

During the week I got a call reminder about Chelsia and I asked the lady who called me to please have Chelsea call me because the photo that I sent her I was flexible with the hairstyle , didn’t want an updo but I just wanted to talk to her a little bit more about it the style. At this time I told her I was unsure I wanted to work with a level one stylist for my wedding day. The receptionist assured me that Chelsia was excellent at bridal hair. I never got a call back from Chelsea to discuss the hairstyle further.

On My wedding day I arrived at 8 AM promptly for my appointment. I handed the hair pieces to her which she looked at me with a snarl on her face and said I can’t do that. I’ve never done this before, I can’t do it, I thought you meant hair barrettes. Then she recanted and said maybe I’ll have to ask for help. She asked me if I wanted my hair shampooed and dried which I already told that I wanted that to the receptionist when I scheduled the appointment. We get to her chair and I’m friendly and I’m cheerful and I’m talkative. I am kind and very polite despite her snarling face who clearly doesn’t want to do my hair. About 30 minutes into the appointment another girl comes up furiously angry with me and says that she can’t believe I brought this hair in and at least I could brush it for her. She said she does not have time to do my hair with hair pieces and is very upset with me. I told her I did offer to brush the hair for her and she declined my help. With that she stormed off in anger. I sat there in my chair crying with no condolences at all from Chelsia I had to ask for a tissue as the tears flowed down my face on my wedding day!

I’m really disappointed in the salon, I’m disappointed with my appointment. I felt like my morning and my wedding was ruined to what was supposed to be such a joyful joyous...

Though my first experience was pleasant, I can’t say the same for my second. I booked at the desk as I was leaving a fantastic microdermabrasion session. It was evident they were having trouble with their software but I was assured that I was booked. During the week before my next appointment, I logged into my account to verify the time of my appointment but it said that I had nothing scheduled. Since everything happens for a reason, I decided I would just try to book again at a later date. A few days later I received an aggressive call saying that I missed my appointment and if I didn’t come in the following day, then they would charge me. I explained that nothing showed on my profile when I checked their website and that I never received a confirmation text or call. They blatantly lied and said that “someone” did call and text but couldn’t tell me who. No surprise - they are now trying to charge the credit card I used from my first appointment. It’s a shame that locals chase away locals with their greed. I do NOT recommend this business, will never go there again, and hope that you won’t fall for their lack of professionalism. There are many other businesses in this area that appreciate and value...

Candice did a great job! This was my first time seeing her and she made me feel really comfortable and I totally trusted her with my hair.

Update as of 6/8/21 since I have been going to Candice for awhile now. Every time Candice does my hair I think “This is the best my hair has ever looked” and then she out does herself the next time. I had a completely new look done on Saturday and she did an amazing job. I asked for something that took way longer than my scheduled appointment time (I chose the wrong appt type) and she was so nice and professional about it. The best part is how excited and genuine she is about wanting her customer to love their hair. She truly cares about her clients and it shows. She takes her time to make sure you know what you are asking for and what can actually be done and be done the right way. I really needed a self esteem boost and I’m so grateful she...
