Iām not one for reviews, but thereās no way I canāt say how awesome these people are. During my drive from Michigan to Arizona, my wheel bearing went out on my 2015 Ford F250. I called them 30 minutes before they were closing, still being 20 minutes away, they got my information, and ordered the part for it. When I arrived they got the truck taken apart, and ready for the new part to go in while waiting for the new part to arrive. New part arrived, i paid them and was on my way. This was possibly the easiest encounter Iāve ever had with an auto shop. I meant to leave a review then but I had forgotten when I made it to arizona.
The main reason for leaving the review now is that the part they had replaced failed again, nothing that they did, it was my neglect for not fixing the other issues causing it to go bad. However, 5 months later i need to replace it, thereās a 3 year warranty on the part, but the auto parts store couldnāt seem to find the warranty so I called them and they were more than willing to help sort out the issue. I really cannot thank the folks there enough for all of their tremendous efforts to help out a complete stranger, but I hope that this is read by somebody, and helps them make a decision to have work done on their vehicle. All around great company, great people, great work, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have a 20 year relationship with The Shop and Dave has never once let us down. He is always friendly and courteous; always does what he can to save us money and make our lives a little easier. I see a few negative reviews here-some duplicate stories about a rusty frame, just from a different family member and thatās too bad. But even I know that when you live in an area that puts salt on the road all winter, washing your car off is something you stay on top of because salt will quickly corrode any metal on your vehicle. Itās not the mechanicās job to tell you that. No one is perfect, but Dave gives it to us straight and he is honest and hardworking. There is something to be said about a shop owner that actually helps with the workload as there are so many shop owners that stand behind the counter pretending to know what theyāre talking about when referring to a problem with your vehicle. Dave usually works on our vehicle personally or will take a look after the initial assessment and let us know what he thinks. He does it all and he isnāt afraid to get dirty. Number one reason we will continue to go to The Shop? HONESTY. It means everything in a mechanic. Heās not going to try and sell you something that you donāt really need. I recommend The Shop to everyone I know and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a vehicle from Ellenberg Motors on 11-27-2017. The vehicle had been Inspected by The Shop. It passed all apparently passed inspections. A week ago my son noticed the car wasn't driving right. I had it towed to a shop and come to fi d out the K frame was rusted and had cracked. I was told that this car should not have passed and should not have been on the street. I contacted Dave and spoke with him. Since I brought this to attention he has not taken any of my calls or answered any emails. In the meantime my son is with out a vehicle. I am very displeased with both companies as neither is speaking to me. I purchased a vehicle, passed inspection and less than 3 months the frame is cracked. Ki da a hard pill to swallow. I will update as soon as a resolution is reached. But as for now I have to give The shop only 1 star and would seek out someone else as they wont stand behind their work!!! I also want to add that, Monday 2-18-2019 I still hadn't heard from Dave so I called again and he wouldn't take my call, but sis pass a message on to me through his secretary that he hasnt looked at any emails that I sent. So, in 5 days you haven't taken this serious enough to read my emails. Very poor customer service!!! ...
