There were two adjacent free parking lots off highway 1. The hike started beautiful looking over the Pacific Ocean. The first 3 miles were pretty easy. The 4th and 5th miles got harder, steeper, and sunnier. At times the gravel road got a bit dicey with little shade. There were lots of dogs on the hike. And I saw a little tiny rabbit 😁

Great hike not muddy on the trails. Some the trails have grave loose. Back half of the loop at the end is closed due to dangerous conditions. You don’t lose to much and the trail becomes just an out and back instead. Tons of great views along the ways!!.
