8 Must-Visit Archery Spots in the Bay Area 🎯 Experience Something Unique
Tim LumTim Lum
I have been a lifetime member for 10 years and have been coming to shoot for 20 years. This 200 acres is a wildlife preserve as well as a world class archery range supporting all archery disciplines except horseback archery. This includes Olympic style FITA as well as: traditional, field, roving, 3D, Asian, thru two walking ranges and numerous special events. Anyone with a bow or without a bow is welcome. We share the range with foxes, raccoons, deer, bobcats, mountain lions, turtles, wild turkeys, raptors, chipmunks, geese, ducks and coyotes. All are welcome and protected because we are a shooting range; self maintain and appreciate this beautiful pristine parkland. And unlike many firearms ranges, visitors and members are respectful, aware, helpful and friendly.

Used to live nearby and this was our default outdoor range - beautiful green awesomeness. Just like other outdoor ranges in the bay area, this isn’t a free party picnic area so no blasting music, speakerphones, big dogs off leash, or otherwise being a non-archery focused person or supporter. There’s plenty of other parks if you’re just wanting a place to chill and hang out.

One of the best, most diverse archery ranges in CA. Great practice range & 100 yard range as well as a kiddy range. Very well organized, well run tournaments with lots of volunteers making it happen. Covid safety protocols are rigorously followed. Great teaching program before the CV-19 & hopefully will return after the pandemic is over. Lots of friends converge here to shoot &...

Rolled up to the front gates on my bicycle, was told I might "accidentally" get shot by a bow (with a wink and a smile); we were hundreds of yards from the archery range and the park owner clearly had a prejudice against cyclists. This 1-star rating should perhaps have been filed as a police report, but I thought others should know what kind of people are...
